Bootable Desktop

A full Debian XFCE desktop: browser, file manager, editor, PDF and image viewers, media and Wi-Fi controls. Prepare a USB, restart the PC and select it in the boot menu.

Firefox ESR is included. The Install Google Chrome shortcut downloads actual Chrome from Google after you review and accept its terms.

1.61 GB · Intel/AMD 64-bit PCs · 32 GB USB recommended. BIOS/UEFI boot, saved-work reboot and offline AI passed in virtual machines. Physical USB and Secure Boot remain untested.

Open inside Windows

Keep Windows running. Extract the complete GarryUSB folder onto your drive, then open Start Garry.exe for local notes, tasks, files and optional AI.

Windows 10/11 x64 · 18.7 MB. Preview: launch on physical Windows hardware has not yet been verified. This ZIP does not make a bootable USB.

Windows quick start

Both editions start fresh. No cloud logins, private history, business files or remote-control permissions are included. Cloud Garry remains at GarryHQ with its normal sign-in.

    Download the ZIP.

    Get the Windows package using the button above.

    Extract it onto your USB.

    Keep the entire extracted folder together on your drive.

  3. 03

    Open Start Garry.exe.

    Double-click the launcher inside that folder to open your workspace.

Add local AI once, then chat offline.

Open Garry → System → Set up local model for the 2.5 GB model download. The bootable edition requires persistent USB storage first; reserve at least 8 GB for persistence when preparing it. No paid API is required for local chat. The model runs on the PC and does not have Cloud Garry's account access or action tools.
